Growing up building sets for low-budget community theatres, I became adept at transforming whatever I could find lying around. Now, as a 3D artist, I strive to do the same when building worlds and designing environments. I like to reimagine everyday objects by focusing on what they could be rather than what they are typically perceived to be. Combining these transformed parts into whimsical worlds, I challenge my audience to approach my work with a childlike sense of curiosity and fun. As a 3D artist, I utilize tools such as Maya, Zbrush, and Substance Painter, to create worlds that tell fascinating stories. Fairytales and fantasy elements often serve as inspiration for my work as I believe there’s magic to be found in everything.
Duties Included:
Modeling unique characters, accessories, and environments in Zbrush and Maya
Retopologizing characters and accessories in Maya so they are low poly and game ready
Texturing all assets in Substance 3d Painter
Grooming fur on characters using Fluffy Grooming Tool for Unity
Setting up all assets, lighting and shaders in Unity
Creating custom shader graphs and particle effects in Unity
